Victoria Roggio Beauty: Luxury Spa Instagram Case Study

Transforming a founder-led Instagram account into a recognizable luxury spa brand through consistent storytelling, photography, and video.

Company: Victoria Roggio Beauty
Location: Old City, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Platform: Instagram
Scope: Instagram strategy and management, visual direction, copywriting, photography, video content, and banner design for the website and email campaigns
Project role: Completed by Anna Vorontsova, founder of EVA, during her in-house employment as an SMM specialist at Victoria Roggio Beauty.

The Starting Point: From Personal Account to Spa Brand

When Anna joined the team, the spa had recently opened. Its Instagram was still primarily the founder’s personal page, with occasional posts and no structured content strategy or consistent brand presentation.

The challenge was to build a distinct presence for the business while preserving the personal connection that made the founder’s voice valuable. The account needed to communicate the quality of the spa, introduce its services, and give potential clients a reason to book.

Building a Recognizable Visual Identity

Working with the team, Anna helped define the brand’s tone of voice, visual direction, typography, and recurring content themes for Instagram.

The creative approach reflected the luxury beauty experience: natural light, considered compositions, tactile details, and a sense of calm and care. Photography brought together treatments, interiors, skincare products, and lifestyle moments within a cohesive visual style.

This gave the account a recognizable identity and a clearer distinction between the founder’s personal presence and the spa as a business.

Brands Featured in the Content

Photography, video, and promotional content featuring Augustinus Bader, Biologique Recherche, Hydrafacial, Trudon, and Westman Atelier, created during Anna’s in-house role at Victoria Roggio Beauty.

Consistent Instagram Management & Content Production

Anna managed Instagram regularly, combining content planning, copywriting, publishing, and on-site photo and video shoots.

Being present at the spa made it possible to capture authentic moments, introduce new services, and turn everyday activity into relevant content. Repeatable themes gave the account structure while leaving room for fresh ideas and spontaneous storytelling.

The content mix included:

  • Reels introducing treatments and spa rituals.
  • Product photography and beauty demonstrations.
  • Behind-the-scenes stories and team moments.
  • Interior details and the atmosphere of the spa.
  • Founder-led content that maintained a personal connection with the audience.

Visual Storytelling That Supports Bookings

Each piece of content had a purpose within the client journey: attract attention, explain an offering, build trust, or encourage an appointment.

Treatment videos showed what an experience looked like, while close-up photography highlighted products, textures, and the attention to detail behind the service. Lifestyle and personal content gave the brand warmth and familiarity.

Together, these formats helped connect the visual appeal of the account with the services people could actually book.

Website & Email Campaign Design

Alongside Instagram management, Anna created banners and promotional graphics in Canva for the spa’s website and email campaigns.

The work included holiday gift guides for him and her, as well as graphics promoting a holiday makeup class. Each design brought together product imagery, typography, and clear messaging to present seasonal selections or communicate event details and booking information.

These materials extended the spa’s visual identity beyond Instagram, giving website visitors and email subscribers a consistent brand experience across different touchpoints.

Results Over One Year

During the project period, the Instagram audience grew organically from 9,000 to 13,000 followers — an increase of approximately 44%.

The project presentation also reports that around 60% of new clients came through Instagram during the collaboration. Content supporting new service launches generated engagement and repeat bookings.

The result was a more consistent, recognizable brand presence, with Instagram serving as both a showcase for the spa experience and a meaningful source of new clients.
